Interpreting for refugees
We help overcome language and cultural barriers!
fka networks interpreters
The fka is a human rights organisation in which many people with refugee and migration experience work. We are well networked with language and cultural mediators who have a good knowledge of German, often an academic level of education, democratic competence and multi-layered life experience. Many are trained or at least well experienced in social and procedural counselling. Through professional training they have acquired special know-how in interpreting, intercultural competence, women’s, family and health counselling. For some languages we have contacts to trained therapy interpreters (*).
Interpreters help to close communication gaps and overcome linguistic and cultural barriers. They are mediators of languages, cultures and integration. Their service for intercultural communication and understanding is culturally sensitive and needs-based. Because the requirements are complex and responsible. The use of professionals can save costs and also prevent wrong decisions, wrong actions and aggravating complications.
Interpreters can be employed for you on a fee basis. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, call 0721 96494896.
