Psychosocial care for Ukrainian war refugees

Support for trauma sequelae and mental health problems

The atman Institute for Mental Health and Migration of the fka offers stabilising and therapeutic support for trauma sequelae (depression, adjustment and anxiety disorders, PTSD) at the MRZ Karlsruhe.

Due to current events, we have launched this new project, which is aimed in particular at Ukrainian refugees. The aim of our therapeutic work is to relieve the clients by changing the way they deal with their problematic symptoms. Such treatment can bring noticeable relief to those affected even if the traumatic experience is not addressed.

Our specialist therapists and therapeutic counsellors work with different focuses (body therapy, narrative biography work, trauma-sensitive yoga, Wendo). After an initial consultation, the appropriate method can be selected.

People suffering from particularly severe trauma sequelae can be referred for further treatment within our networks.

Suitable language mediators are available.
The offer is free of charge.
